The trophy is a material collage of classic automobile and what surrounds it. It represents the sequence of the materials from the road on the car interior, the human interface, the external interface is up to material symbols of the event. Lover of classic cars understand this idea immediately, as they are in a special relationship to authentic substance and its history. So some layer of this trophy tells even their own. The asphalt comes from an old Berlin street – the Senefelder dam that had to be replaced after a burst pipe. The clay is a symbol of the land through which the tour took: the Brandenburg Tonstraße. The Brickworks Park in Zehdenick, himself a stop on the tour, provided to the material from a long disused clay pit.
